Rooted in Love. Rising in Action.
The Raven Richmond Foundation uplifts women, children, and communities by promoting literacy, compassion for animals, and healing-centered support for those impacted by domestic and gun violence. We honor Raven’s legacy by investing in the futures she cared deeply about—pets, books, and the well-being of young mothers—through scholarships, community-led service, and acts of intentional care.
From her very first days, Raven was surrounded by love. Placed in foster care at just three days old, she was welcomed into our family, who cherished her and gave her the stability, safety, and unconditional love every child deserves. Formally adopted at age three, Raven grew up with a generous and caring spirit, always ready to help others feel that they mattered. Today, it is that same spirit of love and belonging that inspired us to create The Raven Richmond Foundation in her honor.
Raven had a gift for making people feel seen, valued, and loved. She delighted in sharing her favorite books, caring for her pets, and creating special moments with those around her. She believed in kindness, in belonging, and in the simple but powerful act of showing up for others.
Her desire for belonging reminds us of the urgent need for children and adults alike to be truly seen, protected, and supported. Raven’s life inspires our mission to extend that safety and community to others.
The Raven Richmond Foundation was created to honor her legacy by reaching out to children in foster care and women in abusive relationships. We are committed to providing resources, services, and hope to those who need it most because everyone deserves the security and love that Raven once knew and always gave.
Through this work, Raven’s light continues to shine, bringing comfort, strength, and love to others, just as she always did.
